It all depends upon who 'you' are.

There are THREE ways [at least], aspects, dimensions or perspectives from which this Australian Public-Sector Anti-Corruption Conference 2009 is a fraud and a rort.

The matter of sponsorship; that these public sector parasites expect business who deal with them to give them payola
That the public servants can conspire between themselves, in private without any prying eyes or ears, and so conspire to defraud the 'them' [that is us, the community- the non public servants] as compared to the 'US' of public sector parasites.

Consideration on Internet publicity.

I think most people have heard the saying that 'All publicity is good publicity, even bad publicity.' Well, I believe that needs dissection.

My view is:
Considered from the perspective of the 'entity' that is publicised:

If the entity is a small entity and wishes to be known publicly, for what ever reason, [ie business or poor psychology; ie one really 'sick puppy'] then 'bad publicity' is 'good' publicity.
If the entity is large and already well known, then 'bad publicity' about that entity is not desired by that entity.
If the entity is a small entity, and does not wish to be well known or necessarily known at all, like PUBLIC SECTOR PARASITES, then those PUBLIC SECTOR PARASITES do not wish bad publicity, as it makes them the BUTT of jokes [like Monica [BIG A for Antony] Antony], and probably detrtimentally affects their promotion prospects within that public sector.
Also, for nobodies looking for employment, [such as the 125+ in FUCK OFF DUCKMAN brigade] , having bad publicity, [like the truth about them posted on the Internet with high search engine rankings], can detrimentaly affect their employment prospects and probably reduce their income over their time employed, and probably their marriage prospects. If an employer like Joe Hockey is so foolish as to not scrutinize the internet prior to employing the person, the consequences can be 'interesting'.
